With all the tragedies that happened in our country like super typhoons, car and bus accidents, who would have thought that some of us will have one more reason to mourn during the busy days of holidays.
I got to know Mhai-Chan from my high school batch mate’s posts on Foursquare. Out of curiosity I checked on her posts and found out that she was fond of Anime. She liked my posts and I liked back on her posts. I even invited her to like the Facebook page of my blog and she did. What she did for a stranger like me online might be a small thing to everyone and to her but I find her kind and supportive. My friend later informed me that she was also a cosplayer and I was looking forward to see her on any upcoming events.
I felt shocked on what I have read on her Facebook wall and I believe everyone was. I am making effort to post this and share my feelings for her friends, loved ones and friends of mine as a fellow otaku even though I do not know much of her and have not met her personally.
I saw a thread on her wall making a lot of fan signs for her. For the first time, I will also make a fan sign as a tribute for her. How I wish she can still check her Facebook account with all the people who mourn for her wherever she is now. If you happen to know her or feel like making a tribute for her, here is the link of the thread.
Here is a video tribute from friends of Melo:
