It has been awhile since the last time I attended the Level Up! Live event. Fortunately, I had time for this year, expecting for a lot of freebies and enjoy with the mini games the event had to offer.
This year, I read some articles saying that E-Games and Level Up! have merged. Looking at their web sites, the online games and account are merged into one. With this event, the championships for their respective MMO’s were held on this one event.
What puzzled me is that it was a one day event on July 6, 2013. Unlike previous Level Up! Live events, they were two day event. Now that two companies had merged, how will they be able to hold the event to one day?
We arrived at the World Trade Center after lunch and the line outside was still crowded.




Surprisingly, most of the booths are for selling items such as souvenirs, toys, computers. Unlike from my past years of visit, I did not see any physical games such as rock climbing, sumo poring, joust. There were side events or mini games and they were all online related and you will need to have an online game account in order to participate.
